	What is a personal wedding website?
	A place where you can keep your friends and family informed about all the important arrangements of your big day e.g. announcement, venue details, latest news. You can also upload your photographs, create a gift list and provide directions to the ceremony. Check out our Features Page for more details.
	How long will my site be online?
	Your site will be online forever.
	Can I use the site before and after the wedding?
	Yes, you can use the site for planning the big day and interacting with your guests. Afterwards, you can upload your wedding and honeymoon photographs and leave your Thank You messages.
	How will family and friends get to my site?
	You will have a unique URL e.g. www.idealweddingwebsites.co.uk?sample@idealwedding.co.uk You may also register a personal domain name e.g. www.andreaandjohn.co.uk - see Prices Page for more details. Note that personal domain names must be renewed every 1-2 years at the relevant price.
	I'm not very technical - how will I create my site?
	It’ll be easy. You’ll be prompted for all the details you need in simple to use data entry forms. If you can type, you can create a website.
	Can I try before I buy?
	Remember, you get a free homepage anyway. When you register for this, you automatically get a 10 day free trial of all the other idealWeddingWebsites pages.
	Will my site have ads?
	Your free site will contain a small number of discrete ads, but these are removed when you purchase any of the paid pages.
Price
	How can you manage to give away a free site?
	We offer advertising space to selected partners which only appear on the free site. The revenue from this means we can offer a completely free service for brides and grooms. Once you pay for any of the additional pages, the ads are removed.
	What happens when my paid site expires?
	If you would like to keep updating your site there is a nominal fee of £5 for a further year. If you do not wish to enter any more information your site will still be available to view at your URL. (See- “How will family and friends get to my site?")
Features
	Can I restrict who sees the site?
	You may set a password for your site and pass this on only to those you wish to view your pages.
	What is a design template?
	Design templates are pre-defined graphics which will surround the personal information that you upload. We have a number of design themes to suit a range of individual tastes.
	What if I change my mind about the template I've chosen?
	It’s a simple matter of changing the option in your “Control Panel".
Pages
	What pages can I purchase?
	A range of pages are available to assist with planning, organising, announcing and interacting with your guests. From the basics of announcing your date and venue to fun features like quiz and poll.
	Can I put directions on my site e.g to my house, the venue, etc.
	You can upload personal documents e.g. Word documents, PDF, PowerPoint presentations. The site will automatically generate a Multimap location and Green Flag directions.
	Can I send out invitations from my site?
	There is a full service from idealweddinginvitations.co.uk which allows eInvites, DIY printing and professionally produced stationery.
	Can I link to a gift list?
	Yes, you can link to any online store gift list or provide phone/address details if your list is not online. Additionally, there is a flexible gift list from which you can choose from over 40,000 gifts in our database from stores such as John Lewis, Dixons, Currys and eBookers. You can even add your own gifts and ask for contributions towards more expensive items.
	Can guests contact me on the site?
	Guests can RSVP online and also sign your Guest Book.
	Can I add pages at any time?
	Yes, you can add pages at the appropriate stage. For example, you may create your venue details first and add Photo Album and Table Planner at a later time.
	Do you include any planning tools?
	We have a fully featured task list where you can manage your plans and keep an eye on how things are progressing.
